Location: Denver, Colorado
Completed: Under Construction
Originally constructed in 1917, the Webber Theater opened its doors. This building has lived through several personalities during the last century with its newest breath of life turning the 100-year-old building at 119 South Broadway into Archetype Distillery. The owners have developed an artisanal distillery producing both small-batch gin and vodka. Despite winning a certificate of nonhistoric status from the city, the new owners opted not to tear the building down. Instead, they gutted it, preserving the marquis outside and the original brick inside providing patrons a two-level distillery with two bars, a large tasting room, event space, and an art gallery.
